CONTROLLED ASSEMBLY LINE, TURN KEY & ONE STOP SHOP

LMS provides a modular off-site building solution. Cornerstone of this solution is our controlled assembly line environment in our production facility in Rammingen, 80 km west of Munich. The production lines transfer the single modules through the serial manufacturing process where a it can be fully finished up to turn-key level. All internal and external finishes, installations are applied during this process, according to the requirements of the client. If desired, fully finished is fully furnished.

The LMS building solution is a one stop shop. We take care of transportation and delivery on site as well. Here the modules will be installed, followed by the linking of final connections and commissioning. LMS buildings are like any other conventional construction. However, it is not only a permanent building. It is ideally suited for temporary accommodation solutions as well. This is how we create ‘Mobile Real Estate’.

Wood

KEY TO SUSTAINABLE, COMFORTABLE AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING

The resource used for the manufacturing of a module is mainly PEFC-certified wood from sustainable managed and controlled European forests. Wood is a natural and sustainable resource which grows back faster than it can be processed. Along with its positive CO2 balance, wood is the key to a sustainable housing project. Wood as a construction material is not new. For centuries people have used wood for the construction of their homes, churches, temples and other buildings. However, since the industrial revolution it got out of favor. The use of wood is now, more or less, reinvented.

  • Almost all of the remaining construction waste can be recycled in the process.
  • With the help of our own solar field, we are able to produce energy neutral, aiming to an energy negative production in the near future.
  • Wood is a natural and sustainable resource which, grows back faster than it can be produced: In Austria trees produce enough material to produce a module every 40 seconds.
  • Positive CO2 balance: One module stores as much CO2 equivalent to the annual emission of 4,4 cars.
